About me

Hi there, I’m a curious and results-oriented professional with over eight years of international experience engaged in meaningful projects across Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

Over the years, I’ve been involved in everything from facilitating the delivery of WHO’s digital transformation, a large, multi-partner ERP programme, supporting more efficient global operations, enhanced transparency, and improved collaboration across regions, country offices and departments to managing a project connecting women entrepreneurs to new markets and finance, applying project management methodologies and reporting standards. The initiative earned the Sustainable Innovation of the Year Award and contributed to trade-led growth for women-owned SMEs.

I enjoy bringing structure to complex ideas whether through strategic planning, financial oversight, stakeholder engagement, or data-informed decision-making.

I’ve had the chance to collaborate with a mix of global partners, local organisations, governments, and international financiers, often in fast-moving, multicultural environments. These experiences have helped me develop a strong sense of adaptability and clarity in the way I work.

I speak English and Portuguese fluently, have working proficiency in French, and Spanish is next on my list. I also combine people and project management skills with technical know-how in tools like Power BI, Tableau, R, and AI technologies including large language models (LLMs), Python API integrations, and creative platforms like Sora.

I’m most at home in collaborative teams, always eager to learn something new, and committed to work that creates a lasting, positive impact.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with friends and family, playing or watching football, kitesurfing, skiing, doing yoga, reading, going to the theatre or catching a good movie at the cinema. One day, I’d like to get back to writing poetry… but that’s a story for another time (and probably another website).

The International Labour Organization (ILO)

Labour Research & Rural Development:

Conducted research and drafted background documents on decent work in rural economies, with a focus on agriculture in developing countries.

This included analyzing alternative livelihood opportunities for tobacco farmers, examining working conditions in sugarcane plantations in Latin America, and exploring child labour and labour conditions in African contexts.

The work supported evidence-based policy recommendations and contributed to global dialogues on improving labour standards and rural livelihoods.
